Creating Press Ready PDF files

If you publisher has given you pdfs of your book interior and cover (or if your cover is in a jpeg), your files are most likely ready to print.

If your book is still in a word processing program format and/or you need a cover designed, click here.

To be "press-ready":

The interior of your book must be: a high resolution, print quality PDF in a single page layout (no pages laid out side by side).

And

The cover must:

• Be a high resolution JPEG, at least 300 dpi
• Have the correct image size (no resizing required)
• Be complete (front, spine, back)
• Have 1/8" bleeds on all four edges (means extra 1/8 inch all the way around)
